Athletic Conflicts with Final Examinations

Students who have qualified for a post-season varsity championship where they are representing Harvard may require out of sequence or in absentia exams. The Athletics Department will communicate with faculty and share a list of students with athletic conflicts. The date and time of an athletic out of sequence exam may change due to unforeseen circumstances. The Registrar’s Office will coordinate with the Athletics Department and promptly communicate any last-minute changes. Faculty cannot deny a student’s right to take an alternative exam as scheduled by the Registrar’s Office. Students participating in athletic competitions that are not Harvard-sponsored must follow the process of petitioning the Administrative Board.
